Progress and Materials

 I designed all the clothing of my dolls by using adobe illustrator 

   all the layouts and designs were printed out on the artcards. 

 cutting out the layouts to form up a doll

 added some small pieces of mounting boards inside the dolls to support the body structure.

 putting on some glues and fishing ropes to combine the body parts of the dolls. 

 dah dah~ DONE~ move on to the next step, create a box for my dolls.

i put 4 tiny boxes inside to stabilized those dolls.  

 i used few images to decorate the interior of the box.

i just left the external part EMPTY.

because we don't judge a book by its COVER. LOL~

empty doesn't mean that there is nothing inside the box. =)

Myself and CONCEPT!!!

INTRO

who am i? i don't even really know myself sometimes. i always told to become a person that others want me to be, until i decided to take graphic design as my degree course and learn how not to take things too serious. FINALLY im doing something i wanted to do. 

Holla~ Everyone call me CHEE SHIANG, one thing for sure about i myself, PLAY!! because when im playing, i get tons of IDEAS,  INSPIRATIONs and motivation to do my own things. i love to travel as well, 'travel all around the world'is actually one of my dreams. and i think we can't live without jokes, JOKES remind us of something funny or happy, it's quite pointless if u being unhappy and emo all the time. can u imagine~ how BORED they are!! Laugh all we can  and being happy~ that is what we live for, right? so why so SERIOUS?!!! hahaxD

In this subject, Creative thinking, we are required to create a BOX which actually can represent US!!!! but only one personality or hobby can be used to reflect MYSELF. i can't decide which one to applied on my box right after the briefing. i was tried to relate TRAVELs to my box, but it din't work somehow. at last, i choose Fashion as my personality to reflect myself because i always wanted to become a FASHION designer, but Utar didn't offer those particular courses. NO CHOICE!! lol~ 

here are some sketches and mindmap about my BOX!! 

the image above is my mindmap~ i decided to choose either Travel or Fashion as my personality. i plan to add some functions on my box or objects which is PLAY!!! xp

 those sketches are the ideas of my toys. The left one is a bag with a screen that can display different pictures or photos by turning the handle, the middle is a model of a human body~ something like dolls, the function is we can changing its faces, clothes, pants and dresses  by twisting the different sides of its body. on the right is a cigarettes box which contain 20 wooden sticks with different country flags painted on it. 

my tutor, Mr. Malik approved my second idea, i plan to create my box in 20cmx 20cm to keep my dolls. As for my dolls, i plan to create 4 dolls, each of the dolls could have 64 combinations of different dressing.  All you need to do is TWIST, TWIST, TWIST and TWIST!!!!! to change their clothing =)
